Um, we are in a war. Have been for 17 years

Yes and GW kept that war “off the books.” Obama put it back and the GOP began screaming about deficits. They are suspiciously silent now. War is part of it, but tax cuts to the rich are more of it.

Are we not in at least two wars currently?
-
What's your point? Should we give more money to rich people for zero reason?
-
Meaning the wars are contributing to the deficit also and no we should not give more money to the rich
-
No, I got it. But what's ballooning the deficit is the tax cut. And they will come after entitlements next. Why anyone votes republican is beyond me.
-
Tax cut isn't factored into this number until next years, but with more people working nationwide, more money will go to the Government then the tax cuts will miss. With more people working there will be more spending, with more spending more jobs, more jobs more taxes paid

Big business pays less taxes thanks to the GOP priorities. The people of this country continue to pay more in taxes, medical insurance, as we lose income due to tariffs imposed, lose medical benefits, with a deteriorating environment. Now they are taking away our right to vote

We owe most of that money to China.
-
That's not even close to being true. Less than 50% is owed to foreign countries. But you thank Obama for adding 10 trillion to the debt.
-
I'm sure the GOP's next step will be to come after old folks living on social security and Medicare.
