Asians are nearly a quarter of the incoming student body. Shouldn't systematic discrimination reduce enrollment?

You know, rating them a very low score on personal quality is REALLY HARD to do when we have NOT even met them, and when their teachers' recommendation, extra-curriculum, alumni interview are all positive. But we did it anyway. -- Harvard Admission Officers

......the only way to promote diversity is by giving less importance to race, gender and ethnicity etc. Giving importance to race, is only going to 0rompte racial identities. If a race is lacking behind, work at the root cause, not discriminating others who are equal in all resp

How ironic Harvard is shielding racist admission policies with claim of diversity. When two students from the same background try to apply for an university, and one has to work harder and has fewer chances to get admitted because of the students race, it is racism.

This should be interesting. We all know they do, it just hasn’t been made “official”.

Harvard looks at the economics of the students high school and parents income. If you think that lines up with race, that's your problem.

Excuses. It absolutely does, Asians are being punished for their success. I know it can be scary when a motivated race of people encroach on something you feel they shouldn’t have control of, but that doesn’t make what Harvard is doing right. It just makes them xenophobic.

I didn't see this one. Excuses? Indicators. I said it on my last tweet, don't set up a system that can predict race by hs or parents income. Most legacy students are white because most Harvard grads are white. Interesting that isn't an issue for you

The case is about Harvard's admission policies. Legacy is part of admission policies. No whatabouts ism here

The case is about Harvard discriminating against people of Asian descent and if you think they made it this far without evidence, you are mistaken. It’s a lawsuit, not a policy debate. Stop being racist, it is so disgusting.

Racist? Harvard considers academic achievement and other activities. Then they look at high school and parents income. For legacy they look at familywho graduated. Nothing to do with race.

Harvard has $35 billion in untaxed endowment, yet it receives on average $41000 for EACH student from taxpayers. Princeton received $105000 on average. Equivalent universities such as Rutgers receive 1/4 that. Injustice?
