Moronic. Many of us use apps on our cell phones to navigate our bicycle rides and to track our rides. I refuse to stop doing that.

Good point. Also true people texting and reading text apps cannot bike safely while using their phones. Just as it is dangerous to use it while driving. Navigation is allowed with cars, I would think also with bikes.
-
We are on the same page. But I’m willing to bet the law won’t make allowances for GPS usage. As some driving laws (ex Delaware’s) also have not.
-
In The Netherlands they do. You're not allowed to handle your phone but can place it in a holder for viewing. Ours is on the windshield. We only use our phones for navigation.

I shall say GoodLuck. They cannot even outlaw them here in motor(vehicles) as plp start using them to inform when I am en route anywhere; regardless of being in fast-lanes etc etc and plenty cctv to watch.

True definition of idiot: someone texting while riding a bike on the wrong side of the street.
-
Why don’t they just ban idiots then?
-
Constitutional right I guess.
-
Just let the idiots be idiots. Theres no need to ban someone from riding a bike on the phone.
-
Unless you're going 20 mph in the other direction.
