Are the constitutionally mandated separation of powers now collapsing this visibly? Is there no longer even the pretense of democracy?

So, rather than postpone the whole fiasco and get the FACTS straight. @SenateMajLdr and the rest of the corrupt @GOP are going to fast track this process to get someone in, that they can buy into not prosecuting them... Yeah... Can't wait for November...

What facts? That's the issue brain trust nothing but accusations without substance designed to protect a perceived threat on abortion.

Then why not allow a full investigation FIRST?? Oh... that’s right... because they need to get their shill on the SCOTUS before the corruption charges hit! If there were nothing to the accusation they wouldn’t be trying to force him through.

I am somewhat confused as to why one branch of govt (WH) is telling another (Congress) what to do about a third (SCOTUS). I thought the idea was that they were separate branches--checks and balances. Where are the strict constitutionalists?

It doesn’t matter if the White House is open to hearing 0 or 100 accusers. The Senate is where the hearings take place and they are supposed to be transparent and bipartisan. And they are supposed to call in @FBI for new allegations. #RegularOrder #ruleoflaw

What's that folksy saying I keep hearing about those welfare kids... oh yeah, "As the twig is bent, so grows the tree." Can't hear that now over the "boys will be boys" passionate expression of grief and sorrow...

The White House? Hell, no. It is the Senate Jusiciary Committee that makes the decision, not the White House. Let’s recall three branches of government.
