@AlanDersh Alan Deshowitz went on to question whether women should automatically be believed simply because they are a woman#hironoed#hetoo#falseallegations -
No. But the problem is that women are generally disbelieved "simply because they are a woman", and that's the bias and discrimination that needs to end.
-
Please re-read @AlanDersch "There is no gender-based gene for truth telling. Some women tell the truth; some women lie. Some men tell the truth; some men lie." You ignorantly inject bias and discrimination against this Yale Educated Federal Judge based on your political agenda.
-
Misogyny, that's the bias. Neither women nor men are innately more truthful; but there is a bias against women. That's a global problem, not just here.

Ask the senators and congressmen too while you are at it. Hypocrisy

That’s the job of their constituents.

This Senator declared the sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh as true merely because of his judicial philosophy, which is shameful; honest, but shameful.
-
really? are you sure it wasn't because of at least 3 women coming forward with accusations, and corroboration from numerous Yale classmates of Kavanaugh?
-
No first hand corroborations in Yale case. Accuser admits she was drunk and doesn’t remember. Flat out witness denials in Ford case. Btw, those were Sen’s words about his approach to cases. He’s guilty because he’s an originalist.
-
And he’s innocent because? The GOP leadership seems to presume his innocence: “I think she’s mistaken,” he told reporters. “I think she’s mistaking something, but I don’t know, I mean, I don’t know her.”http://time.com/5400112/clarence-thomas-brett-kavanaugh-confirmation/ …
-
I think we need to hear from both, but the burden is always on the accuser to prove guilt not on the accused to prove innocence.
-
I agree that we need to hear from more than just Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford. But this is not a legal proceeding and there is no burden of proof. This is a nomination process for the highest seat in the land - marked from the outset w perjury, obfuscation n sexual assault allegations
