Throughout the western U.S., water conservation is in the toilet. And that's a good thing.https://n.pr/2DqUseT

Water is the most important resource on Earth. Turns out, fresh water is extremely scarce. Here I am, sitting on a toilet in America, shitting on it. Just shitting on it. The low-income crowd? Those in poverty? They shit on the world’s most important, scarce resource too.

33 gallons a day is still absolutely outrageous and unnecessary. America's obsession with shitting into a crystal clear lake of water is just ridiculous.

Yup, the toilets in thus country are so wasteful. Almost never see one with a half flush option. And the huge bowl full of water is ridiculously unnecessary. Good to hear that's starting to change.

The toilet? If you want to conserve water, ban watering the grass.
