Nope. I didn’t appreciate that judgmental song. McCartney is a kind hearted, loving man, doing his best, and didn’t have to have his motives judged publicly. I’m a Lennon fan but, nah. Not his finest moment.

From the day The Beatles began until the day Lennon died, this was saddest time. To hear John and George singing such a hateful song about a friend, it's the venom in John's voice that hurt me the most and I've been a Beatle fan for 56 years.

I never knew George played on that record. Very poignant… lines were drawn I guess! I appreciated Paul’s recent comments on the matter, but in historical context it’s fascinating. Very nice quality recording and film, this one.
