I think it is win-win. Similar in concept to the devices that track driving behavior and reduce premiums for safe drivers. Only in this case it is personal health information.

Your employer should never have access to your personal health data. They should never ask for it or incentivize you to give it. They don’t need your health data to help you eat healthier and exercise.

I agree that employers don’t need your health data to make you healthier. Still, if there is a voluntary program that could reduce health insurance premiums for those who choose healthier lifestyle and exercise regularly, I think many would benefit

God forbid employers seek to have a healthy productive workforce.

Then buy me a healthy lunch instead of cheap pizza and give me a $25 pass to state parks. There are tons of ways to make employees healthy. But don’t require health information exchanged for money.
