We should be talking about over prescribed anti-depressant drugs in public schools!
-
And the over use of ADD/ADHD medicine. Which all are basically meth.
-
What the hell are you on about, both of you. Do you know ANYTHING about these besides a couple quick google searches from hysterical websites
-
They contain amphetamines and derivatives of amphetamines. Which is what? You guessed it METH. Not every kids that has a hard time sitting still needs these drugs and they certainly don't need it a 5 and 6 years old it makes it almost impossible for them to function with out it
-
Kids are supposed to be hyper, kids are supposed to day dream. They are not meant to be little robots.

Look at the two women who just died in a van because they were left by the people supposed to be helping them, they were mental health patients. This will only stigmatize them more. And lead to more issues.

Most parents who lost children in school shootings would disagree
-
Except then these are used to stigmatize mentally ill people, include them in pre-existing conditions and boot them out of school at the drop of a hat. Mentally ill people are far more likely to be victims than perpetrators of violence.
-
I agree with you. However, there has to be a point where it does become a matter of record, even if confidentially to avoid the mentally ill who are prone to violence. There is no easy answer, but there has to be one better than what is in place now.
-
I am around mentally ill and unstable ppl alot. And some teeter on the edge of violence. Two people who I saw and dealt with frequently committed gruesome murders. So it can and does happen.
-
You and others’ view of mentally ill people being an inherent danger from childhood, undeserving even of privacy and who instead of getting treatment and compassion should be isolated and marginalized further is why we die at far greater rates and not only from suicide

Parents need to be very worried about this!

Not only that but if anything on record is changed to accommodate mental health it would be hard to protect into adulthood and as an adult. It could be a get around on HIPPA laws.

Mental health needs to be fixed in this country, it's horrible how people are treated with mental health issues. If you are a minority with mental health issues and have an interaction with LEOs you are most likely to die.

Mental health can be treated if medical treatment was provided equally to everyone. But Trump supporters don't want national health care for everyone.
