        NPR used a picture of bitcoin because the article is about the exchange losing bitcoin: "Zaif lost 5,966 Bitcoins, currently valued at more than $6,000 each, as well as some Monacoin and Bitcoin Cash". Makes me think you didn't read the article.

        Wasn't the reason for bitcoin to keep money from banks which made it harder to steal? I say its the bank's fault for trying to take in the currency
