Our pediatrician told us years ago that walkers put babies upright before they are ready. They ended up leading with their heads, which results in more head injuries.

Maybe parents need to do parenting? We've seen and used many walkers with babies in our lives and never had a problem in multi-story homes or outside, or on various surfaces. Why? Because we pay attention as parents and grandparents. The problem is not the device. Common sense!

That's why my invention of the " Baby Tram " is going to replace walkers. The Baby Tram is a swing, walker & jumper all in one !

Ban, ban, ban. Why not just watch your kid while in a walker?

Apparently they are not being monitored by those caring for them. Btw, are kids nowadays just more frail than before?

That is poor planning & supervision, stairs should be gated for safety, & doors closed . They are going to get those fractures with out the walkers even if you do gate the stairs & close the doors. They climb, they crawl. They are not sure footed.

& it is not psychologically or physically healthy for them to remain in an enclosed gated area for too long. They want to follow mom around while she does chores.

Or follow dad when he does chores. Just saying.
