Just in: In a statement, Kavanaugh has denied the allegations and says he's willing to speak before the Senate Judiciary Committee about them. “This is a completely false allegation. I have never done anything like what the accuser describes — to her or to anyone," he said.

I'd have more respect if she confronted this when it happened. Not after me too and after the supreme court nod years and years later. If it was true then how many more women did he "assault" because she didn't have the courage to do so then.

It wasn't "her job" to make sure it never happened to anyone else. It was "her job" to try to heal in the best way she could. How about it was "his job" to not attempt to rape someone.

is she going to bring evidence to support her claims or is it he said she said?

What evidence would you like to see? What would be good enough for you? Lie detector isn’t enough, therapist notes not enough. Are you waiting for the video?

Therapist notes with names. Somebody she told about Kavanaugh years ago. Polygraphs are garbage. They are not admissible in court.

Happens everyday, not every crime is on video, you watch too much tv. Ever sat on a jury? Credibility of witnesses is a thing. Wouldn’t be a legal system without it.

@JoeBiden Joe! One walk in that room with Anita and Christine, with Dr. Biden, and you tell Congress the mistakes you made with Anita and the Thomas hearings. She should have been believed and just maybe this story is true too. Fight for this truth if it is there.✌🏽🇺🇸

If this need be settled, let it be settled in a court of law. If you can't prove it there, then put it away and move onto the nomination. 30+ years does a number on the memory and upon the potential legitimacy of the testimony/evidence of any potential eye-wittnesses.

Then charge Kavanaugh with a crime, there is no statute of limitations on this crime in Maryland for good reason. Maryland doesn’t “put it away” like you do. Pull his nomination.

Put the nomination on hold then. It's innocent until *proven* guilty. I don't mind waiting a few months for them to go through the proper channels.

If they can prove it, he should be punished. Also I never mentioned anything about statutes of limitations. I only said due to the time passed, it's going to be very difficult for this to be proven in a court of law.

“Difficult” is not the issue, the Maryland legislature believes “time passing” is not as legitimate a concern as the lifelong harm suffered by victims. You’re in that “show me the video” category. Juries don’t work that way. But you knew that.
