At NOAA, we don’t predict when or if Greenland’s ice sheet will fail. However, continued melt of all land-based ice (Greenland, Antarctica, alpine glaciers) will contribute to higher future global sea levels, likely in the range between 0.5 and 1 meter by 2100.
