    Flowers were laid at the memorial stone to the victims of the Holocaust and at the monument to the rescuers of Jews. May this site serve as a lasting reminder that we should all work together to avoid such atrocities from ever happening again.

    On July 4, Ambassador Govert Jan Bijl de Vroe participated in the Commemoration day on the victims of genocide against the Jews in Latvia by laying flowers at the memorial site of the Great synagogue in Riga.
