Exactly. If your takeaway from this is that they are getting paid too much in unemployment and not too little in employment - you may be a bad guy!

That just illustrates how POORLY they were being PAID in the first place.

I agree that people should be paid more, but for this they used an average. No matter what half of people are going to get more money than they make.

No. It's bad. It means they are paid so little, that the scraps they get from the government when they can't work are more. That's horrible.
