Since "Chinese Spy Balloon" is trending: In 1945, the crew of USS New York spotted a sphere that they thought might be a Japanese balloon weapon. The captain ordered it shot down but none of the guns could score a hit. Finally, a navigator realized they were attacking Venus.

NJ LD-38. All eyes should be here for a POTENTIAL FLIP here for NJ State Senate elections 2023. A lower turnout, combined with the fact that Paramus Councilman Robert Kaiser could be the GOP candidate to take on Dem incumbent Lagana will make this an easy NJGOP pickup.

Bergen County, the most populous county in NJ (and apparently where every North Jersey Hoya is from)
It's also the land of opportunities for the NJGOP this year. I'll publish a map tomorrow with the legislative boundaries -- LD 36 and LD 38 are very much in play this year 👀
