    PSNI release a pic of police dog Daphne who was injured during last night’s disorder in west Belfast. PD Daphne joined the Police Service in Sept 2020 and completed her training in Dec 2020.

    Shocking another 19 officers were injured last night bringing the total to 74 in the space of a week. Trust all recover well. Respect and thanks to all who are working on the ground & with police to defuse tensions and keep young people away from violence.

    More attacks on police, this time from nationalist youths. Utterly reckless and depressing to see more violence at interface areas tonight. My heart goes out to those living in the area who are living with this fear and disturbance. This needs to stop now before lives are lost.
