This attractive curved staircase led to the 2nd floor of Quarters 15D, a duplex ready 80 years ago for officers stationed . It was a comfortable home for the time, with indoor plumbing, electricity, and even a furnace that didn’t require shoveling coal.

Congrats. Glad the NXR was able to provide the support you needed. Thanks to and for their funding if the NXR. Without their support it would’ve been hard to host you here and provide the animals.

In the early 1920s, Dr. Ida Bengtson standardized the antitoxin used to treat botulism and identified C. botulinum types . Her colleague Dr. Charles Armstrong had investigated an outbreak caused by canned olives that killed at least 19 people in the last months of 1919.
