I dunno, people calling for Bowman’s dismissal, maybe these incidents happened 10 years ago and the Hawks and Crawford mutually understand that he is capable of change, has shown improvement, and will continue to monitor him after his suspension is lifted?

Everyone deserves a chance at redemption, but the problem is there just isn't usually any incentive to do so. Guys release some canned apology, then after the initial outrage dies out they come back without any real consequences.
