Climate change denial nothing to do with science or economics. It’s about profit for polluters. We’re carbon life forms living in carbon cycle damaged by burning millions of tons of sequestered carbon. Weather’s a pendulum and it’s getting more extreme as global temperatures rise

Maybe. But what if we implement all these changes and supercharge our economies by investing in new energies and it turns out we were wrong? We'd have nothing to show for it but clean air and water and cars with 90 MPG. Madness!

Nah, we'd have dirt poor people with no heat in winter, super rich gov't elites controlling all energy usage, allowing only those who line their pockets to consume necessary energy sources. You don't want energy usage to be purely political. Say goodbye to prosperity.

Al Gore stated that parts of New York City would be under 10 feet of water by 2015 (or some such nonsense). All other predictions have NOT come to pass. That is the textbook definition of a theory proven false. Poor Numpty.
