How often do you see centrists or conservatives respond to stories about, say, campus protestors or Twitter activists with “Use specific labels, not ‘liberals’ or ‘the left.’ You’re driving more people to support attacks on free speech and other essential freedoms”?

When Bush 1 mocked Dukakis as "a card-carrying member of the ACLU" a lot of people signed up, including a much younger me. Someone should do the service of mocking people for donating blood and running antivirus on their computers
