Comey admitting election predictions may have influenced his Hillary emails decisions--he doesn't really know--is exactly the sort of honest self-assessment we should want in leaders. Of course, this means it'll be misunderstood, taken out of context, and demagogued to hell. 1/x

That type of honesty is how any basic human relationship is built. I'll take it over "the historian" any day.

Like "best in history," "most popular in history," etc.? Yeah, absolutely. And you can add "believe me," which is an appeal to that parent-child type relationship. Basically "No, I won't explain. Be quiet and let me handle it." (Also, thanks for the kind words about my writing)
