In that sense, maybe it's more accurate to call this the Second Information Revolution, with the first including the inventions of radio and television, which created a mass media environment. But that went one way. This Information Revolution goes two ways. 3/

And the Information Revolution's happening faster than the either Industrial Revolution. It's changing everything from day-to-day experience--how often do you people-watch, or daydream, rather than look at a screen?--to business and politics at the highest levels. 4/

We don't really understand what it's doing to us as it's happening--2016 was the first real Information Revolution election--and we can only make some educated guesses as to where it's going (except that the feedback loop between tech and culture will keep changing society) (END)
