For some reason, Short ignores the passage—which he highlighted!—where McCabe points out he had the legal authority to tell the press. If he had the legal authority, no one else had to authorize it. Officials only authorize that which their subordinates aren’t authorized to do.

Also, Comey testimony is specifically about anonymous leaks. McCabe statement doesn't mention anything about his interviews being anonymous. Am I missing something?
