Sure, I get that. But short-term stock gains isn't a good argument to support a president, and short-term stock declines isn't a good argument to oppose a president. Call out hypocrisy, but don't get dragged into a unreality where stocks measure presidential performance.

Well, presidential policies can have clear impacts on the economy. It's true the stock market is not the economy.
