it is greatly overstated, this headache has already begun...trust me, i know first hand...they're already spending hundreds of hours figuring out what's affected, contracts, contractors...these people run shipyards, maintenance depots and are big cogs in critical operations...

I still take issue with calling the military the "biggest loser," since a lot of military funding will remain unaffected. But I appreciate the info, I'll share this, and will look into it more closely.

core military funding will remain unaffected, there is certainly a tone of hyperbole that leads the common civilian to draw that conclusion...but like i said, most people don't understand the functional impact this can have on critical military operations and that's a fair point
