That’s why supporters—and Trump himself—keep citing the election. It’s his big achievement. The thing he did that few others could. That’s impressive in isolation, but doesn’t mean he’s smart. Certainly not in the capable-of-handling-anything way we expect of presidents. 5/x

In fact, his media-manipulation and grievance-mongering skills (combined with a lack of others) are terrible for the presidency. Shorter version: he’s mostly an idiot, but very talented in some areas. Alright, that’s it. Now... Let’s go Buff-a-lo-o! (END)

I think all of that was revealed during the campaign. He answered questions with nonsense mumbo jumbo. His debate performances were laughable and uninformed. A carnival barker. Obvious from the start.
