Those cruise missiles were to show we were going to stop Assad from dropping chemical weapons. The follow up to that is scheduled for the same time as Melanias immigration application press conference

There haven't been additional chemical attacks. The reason's a lot more complicated than those missile strikes. Nevertheless, Trump ordered them, and Assad hasn't used chemical weapons since.
