I’d like Justice League to be good, but my expectations are in check. Then again, I kind of enjoyed Batman v. Superman, even though it was a stupid mess with a clunky title.

I lowered my expectations for Justice League long ago, which feels gross since I lived and breathed the comics and cartoons growing up. At least we'll always have Wonder Woman.

The cartoons is a big part of what keeps me coming back. But I often walk away thinking "the animated movies were better."

It sounds to me like people who enjoyed BvS were generally happy with Justice League. I didn't like BvS, but I still want to see how this turned out.

The one I really didn't like was Suicide Squad. I had high(ish) hopes but it was terrible. BvS was a mess, but I enjoyed it. So that's probably how I'll feel about this one.

I passed on Suicide Squad, based on reports from people who know me well. Too bad, because I like most of the characters.

I like most of them too. But it was really, really bad. If you haven't seen the animated movie Batman: Assault on Arkham, I recommend it.
