You can bump fire any semi-auto rifle without that stupid stock. Banning it does absolutely nothing.

That's a skill. It helps less skilled. Your argument's a good reason why no one should oppose a ban. Won't solve much. But won't hurt either

It's not a skill... You pull the gun forward while keeping your trigger finger stationary. Literally any idiot can do it.

Evidently not, based on how many have sold and how LV shooter outfitted multiple rifles. Regardless, you're still making the case for a ban

Im pointing out how pointless a ban is and, as its the only shooting involving one, would solve nothing and wouldnt have changed the outcome

Would have slowed this particular shooters rate of fire, giving people a little more time to disperse and seek cover.

False. I literally just said any idiot can do it without the stock. With or without it, the outcome wouldn't have changed

Okay, if it doesn't do anything, why do you have a problem with banning it?

Yes, if he was shooting at individuals. But with a crowd that large (20,000+) and that dense, rate of fire mattered more than accuracy.

I don't think that's true. Because the time would give people more chance to disperse and take cover. Until they did, he couldn't miss.

Yes, you're right. There are special circumstances ( I can only fit so much in a single tweet) but it doesn't change my main point.

Well the reason bump fire systems are not banned is because they don't classify as firearms or actually change a semi-auto to full-auto.

That’s pretty easy to buy illegal firearms, also I’ve heard this guy was wealthy? He probably could have used anything he wanted.

How easy is it really? Professional criminals have connections. But everyone else needs to seek it out.

I’d assume it would depend on the gun you want in the money you have to spend, but in some cases as easy as it is to buy drugs
