But it's also starting to fade a bit into history. Like Memorial Day or Veterans Day. Remains important to some, but no longer everyone.

As culture we're notorious for short attention span but 9/11 changed US and the world in so many ways. Its a big deal. Yet seems "forgotten"

The effects certainly linger. But the literal memory seems to have been "forgotten." At least more than it had been.

Guess we have 2remember that todays 22 yr old prob knew very little abt it when it happened..so not as impactful. And they control "culture"

My students are 20-22 years old. I asked them about it today. They were 3-5 then. Barely remember it, if at all. To them, it's a story.
