To everyone anti-#DACA claiming their top priority is the law: I don't believe you. I don't even believe you believe you.

You don't think the executive should be constrained by legality? Have you seen our executive lately?

If I thought that I would have written it. But I don't. So I didn't.

So if you agree that is illegal, and the executive should be constrained by laws, why support DACA? Support a cong.solution.

I do support a legislative solution. But I'm skeptical Congress will find one, and see no reason to sow chaos first.https://twitter.com/NGrossman81/status/905210121223114752 …

TRUE: #DACA should be replaced with legislation. FALSE: Have to end it first, throwing 700,000+ lives into chaos, with no legislative plan.

I suspect that this is the reason for six month buffer. No other real reason.

Attempt to duck criticism/blame Congress while pleasing hardliners. I doubt they'll pass a comprehensive bill. But I'd love to be wrong.

If T didn't cancel, eventually a court would have ended it and there would be an immediate mess. This is actually the least Trumpian out.

Responsible would be studying the issue, consulting Congress, and preparing legislation first. No sign the administration's done any of that

Some conversations between a Senator and Jared Kushner that produced nothing does not qualify as preparing legislation.
