Ridiculous. Oppose #BDS, sure. Argue against it. But a crime? Boycotting or spending your own money = #FreeSpeech.

That's not an endorsement (or criticism) of BDS. Just an argument that the decision shouldn't be mandated by law, one way or the other.

It's not an issue of individuals, but rather corporate compliance with a boycott. (Leaving aside the tricky "corporations are people too"!)

Anyone is free to buy/not buy any products they choose, or to support BDS. But not for business to discriminate against a friendly country.

California's AB 2844 doesn't target speech (in which case it would be unconstitutional). Only business practices. Same w/the federal law.
