Absolutely, if what he just said on @TheView is his true feeling, you err on the side of caution, and do NOT put them into that high a level of a position. Who doesn't know that? People who are afraid, I guess. But that should have been a "no" vote from @JeffFlake

Exactly. By contrast, Susan Collins was sure. Said so repeatedly. Since she was sure, it made sense for her to vote yes (whether you agree with her or not). But Flake wasn't sure, so he should've voted no and asked for a different conservative about whom he could be sure.

He was very sure , that he had every intention of voting yes .There was no internal , moral struggle .Just a show to gain attention for a possible future run for POTUS .
