Americans who recently insisted we have to apply criminal trial standards to political questions are suckers Probably didn't realize it at the time. Thought you were doing the right thing. (Such is the nature of motivated reasoning) But the president sees you as marks. Always hashttps://twitter.com/AP_Politics/status/1052318483982245889 …

So, society would work with "guilty until proven innocent" in all but criminal trials? How would that work? How is an accusation of sexual assault a political question, and not a criminal one?

No. Because no criminal punishment was under consideration.

I may be wrong, but I thought there was no statute of limitations on the purported crime in the jurisdiction it supposedly took place? And, how will society work again, with a presumption of guilt?

If you're wondering why I'm not responding to the hypothetical about "a presumption of guilt," that's because it's a straw man. I have no idea how it would work, and I never proposed it/wouldn't support it.
