Trump saying US can't confront Saudis because they're "spending $110 billion on military equipment and on things that create jobs" = Lie. He's happy to confront Canada, Mexico, Europe, who all buy a lot more from US than Saudis, creating more jobs. (Also, that $110B figure is BS)

Where are you getting this from? I read he’s going to confront him, and what he’s again is canceling the (multiply reported) $110b arms deal., which, of true, would ruin your Canada, Mexico etc analogy.

The $110 billion figure is vapor. The actual spending so far is much lower, and the end total will almost certainly be decently lower. I'm going off the president's statements, which I quoted verbatim, and America's actions. If America's actions change, my assessment will too.

Regardless, what a STUPID reason to keep ties with this evil regime. “Well, we get a lot of money from them...”.

Replace "US" with "Trump businesses" and you'll find the answer.

He’s not confronting them because he would love to treat critics the same way. He aspires to that level of cruelty.
