What is "political correctness"? I know most Americans say they don't like it. But I'm not sure all of them could clearly articulate what exactly it is that they don't like. And I suspect many who say they don't like political correctness have different definitions.

What would be a neutral framing? Some of the ones I've seen tossed around, i.e. politeness, feel like they just experience the opposite issue.

Good polling questions zero in on specifics and avoid language that’s up to interpretation. To understand what Americans think of PC, I think you’d need multiple questions. Is it ok to say X at work? If someone says X once, should they lose their job? Etc. (but better worded)
