In Rainbows > The Bends > Hail to the Thief (And I really like all three. But In Rainbows is brilliant, definitely in their top three with Kid A and OK Computer, and the omission is egregious).

"House of Cards" is the most beautiful song ever written.

Yeah I love that one, 15 Step (gorgeous Greenwood riff) and Reckoner is just sick.

Nude and Jigsaw Falling Into Place for me. Might be their best album. Most people's opinion skewed based on which album they liked first. If you started with OK or Kid A, that's probably your favorite. But if someone had never heard Radiohead before, In Rainbows might be the one.

there is probably something to that. OK is the first album i grooved to and Kid A took a very long time to grow on me. It has since gone to the top of the list right next to OK. Moon Shaped Pool was nothing to sneeze at either.

"In Rainbows" was among my heavy rotation albums when I was editor at
@Militarydotcom and taking the long flight between IAD-SFO. That was the same period that I read Q magazine religiously.1 reply 0 retweets 4 likes
Moon Shaped Pool is very good. I'd rank it 6th, which is as good a testament to Radiohead as any. What other band has a 6th-best album as good as MSP? The Beatles. Maybe Led Zeppelin. And... ? BTW, funny that all 3 of us write about defense--and what gets us into a convo? Music.
