True, but that’s like saying pro & anti vaxxers have similarly entrenched beliefs. Arguably true, but having an entrenched belief because it is supported by a preponderance of the evidence isn’t the same as one supported by simply disbelieving perceived “opponents.”

I don't think that's a good analogy. There's an immense catalog of scientific research into the efficacy of vaccines. There is no evidence for or against Kavanaugh besides accusers' claims and his denials (plus character witnesses for both), and there probably won't ever be.
