I’m not reading this. You are responsible for sexual assault no matter how old you are.

You're preemptive dismissing an article that reaches the conclusion you want it to because you think, without reading, that it doesn't reach the conclusion you want it to.
-
It’s my choice and why do you care?

-
Of course it's your choice. You wrote something to me. So I replied.
-
Yes but your reply was nonsense.
-
How so?
-
I based my desire to not read the article on what you tweeted. Now, I’m done here.
-
On a misunderstanding of what I tweeted, which I tried to correct. Evidently unsuccessfully. Let me try again. Author asks if everyone should be responsible for everything wrong they did in high school, and says yes for major wrongdoing like sexual assault, no for lesser things.

When being considered for a lifetime appointment on the highest court in the land, every decision you've made in your lifetime matters. Yes, it is a clear cut yes or no, and the answer, under these circumstances, is beyond a shadow of a doubt, yes, completely.
-
The part that isn't a clear cut yes-or-no is whether everyone should be responsible as an adult for everything they did wrong as a teenager. If you read the article, you'll see that the author distinguishes sexual assault from other, lesser misdeeds.

Id prefer if people were responsible for selfish reasons; I turned down most opportunities for fun to keep my nose clean and if there's no reward for that then life sucks
