Do you agree that if we found evidence that she had come out much earlier that this would strengthen her case?

I don't know. I'm confident many of the people who believe her now would believer her under those circumstances, and many of the people who don't still wouldn't (and would make similar effort to dismiss the accusations). I don't know really how they'd be received.
-
If we discovered a written statement in a diary from 1983 that named Kavanaugh that would rightly be seen as powerful corroborating evidence for her story. So the fact that decades went by without such a discovery has to mean her account is less likely.
-
Or she doesn’t keep a diary. It’s a delicate situation with many unknowns.

It's usually the people who are most abusive towards accusers, who can't comprehend why someone wouldn't volunteer for their abuse sooner. No one with any informed understanding of typical behaviors of victims doubts an account of abuse because the victim waited to share it.

Especially when the next three lines are “and why did you ever agree to go to that party with BOYS and LIQUOR anyway? Were YOU drinking? Don’t you know which way the wind blows?”

For God’s sake, the question is why did Feinstein sit on this for months, refusing to forward to authorities or question Kavanaugh about while he was under oath for multiple days? Her lawyer says she’s willing to testify, so let’s go.
-
Why does Feinstein's actions have any bearing on the validity of this woman's claims?
-
By all means, bring her in and hash this out. Now. But Senator Collins is absolutely correct: by not disclosing the letter (while complaining about a lack of documents from the WH) and refusing to even ask Kavanaugh under oath, Feinstein has cast doubt on both Kavanaugh and Ford.
-
Because Kavanaugh's answers under oath were completely forthcoming and not dubious at all. The man perjured himself four times in less minutes.
