I hate everything he stands for but Gorsuch was so clean that the only mildly compelling argument against his confirmation had nothing to do with him.

And that’s my point. Obviously, liberals didn’t want a conservative on the court. But they criticized his judicial philosophy and how he might vote—as they do with any conservative—not his personal behavior.

But not old enough to remember Mitt Romney?
-
Were there Mitt Romney rape accusations that I'm forgetting?
-
They said he gave a woman cancer, and kept women in binderss. Are those not terrible?
-
That's, umm, not what they meant by "binders full of women."
-
Right, it was really praise
-
Are you actually implying that Democrats accused Romney of abducting women and binding them somehow? How could you possibly misunderstand that so badly?
-
No, they were praising him for hiring qualified women, obviously
-
On the off chance you're not just messing with me... When asked about women in the workforce, Mitt Romney bragged in a debate that he had "binders full of women" he was ready to hire. Liberals made fun of him and assumed it was B.S. No one accused him of kidnapping women, LOL

Please don’t be the guy that”thinks” everyone will buy what you sell. Read about the Salem Witch trials & maybe, just maybe, you’ll see the correlation. If you dare to remember, O’s justices went through fairly. Democrats lose & they want to blow up the system w/falsities.
#EJM -
Not getting to be a SCOTUS justice is not in any way remotely close to the Salem witch trials. I know he was grown in a republican petri dish for this but maybe it’s not for everybody, too bad so sad.
-
You're replying to someone who just claimed that Obama's nominations went through fairly.

Who the hell has 65 people they knew as a teenager lined up for character witnesses for your teenage self on a day's notice, and how is that less suspicious than a woman who passed a polygraph?

There’s just not nearly a strong enough case here to implicate him. 35 years ago, told no one, no time, no place, no corroborating witnesses.

Gorsuch didn’t tilt the balance of the court. Not as much was at stake/

Yes, the timing of the release of this 35 year old supposed incident is entirely coincidental, coming as it did from a Democrat activist in the days before his confirmation. Do you want to buy some invisible diamonds?
