Think about all the time people take calling out the president’s lies. The man who launched his run for the presidency by question his predecessor’s place of birth is going to lie. That is just a given.

It's such an immense time suck. But I don't see an alternative. Because the truth matters and the record needs correcting. And because pointing out the lies is a way for people to personally deal with them, even if that doesn't stop the lying (or the fans believing the lies).

A problem I see is that Trump craves the attention. Deflecting attention from what matters. In this case,the response to the hurricane and the situation in Puerto Rico. If the Democrats take back the House,they should investigate and propose ways to avoid this kind of tragedy.
