John McCain voted against Obamacare repeal for procedural reasons. Didn't like the ACA, but thought the repeal effort was BS. Rushed, secretive, no minority input, way too low on details. In this way, he was the only Republican to oppose the McConnelling of the Senate with a vote
Of course he's not a saint. He was a flawed human, like the rest of us. I consider the ACA vote to be something substantial to protect the institution.

I was thinking about his inaction to protect the special council and to reclaim some congressional authority on trade. The ACA vote.....granted.
