Why is a man with the "right" to become an Israeli citizen placed in charge of resolving this situation equitably?

I disagree that a Jewish American is inherently incapable of approaching Israel-Palestine equitably. As for Jared specifically, the answer is because he's the president's son-in-law, has some Middle East relationships, and decided this would be one of the many things he took on.

I agree with you re "inherently incapable." However, I don't think it's a good choice. It's as (apparently) conflicted as having a native New Yorker as homeplate umpire at a Yankees/BoSox game. Some might question that, and I'm surprised I haven't heard it said before.

No. There are plenty of non-zionist jewish Americans. They are above all, Americans, unless you can prove otherwise. By your logic, the US shouldn’t hire a Chinese American to be an ambassador to China.

There are actually two types of refugees in the world today: The Palestinians, who remain refugees eternally, even if they were born in another country (e.g. Jordan), and everybody else, whose children and grandchildren aren't refugees because they were never displaced.

I'm pretty sure this is not what "Do unto others what you want others do unto you" AND it is not what "Paying it forward" means either!

This would be Netanyahu’s plan pushed by Jared.https://www.voanews.com/a/israeli-prime-minister-wants-un-palestine-aid-to-end/4197649.html …
