Even if no collusion, it’s likely Trump has committed crimes. Money laundering, for example. And there’s a decent chance some combo of DoJ and SCOTUS determine a sitting president cannot be indicted. Well... That’s an awfully big incentive to try and remain president, ain’t it?

I’ve been shocked at the way things that would have been deal breakers before are mere blips in the news cycle. Even the amount of pushback we are seeing today is only atypically high relative to the incessant fawning of the last year and a half.

It would affect the House, but not the Senate or Electoral College. The system is designed as a coalition of states, not a single, majority-rule country.

I think we’ve already seen with this Congress how 30 liberal Senators, remember the other 35 states are rural and white, and a House ruled more by land distribution considerations more than population considerations. It’s already happening
