The Yugoslav Wars were only a little smaller than the Korean War.
-
Just looking at deaths: South Korean, American, and allied military deaths alone were 40k higher than military + civilian deaths on all sides in Yugoslav wars. Add in civilians and the North Korean/Chinese side, and the Korean War is larger by an order of magnitude.

It's more like a factor of 5, and that's only if you accept the higher casualty estimates. And of course the Yugoslav wars produced far more refugees—millions of people escaped slaughter but lost their homes and communities.
