Greenwald et. al. cry "where's the evidence?" On that, they have a point. The US intelligence community (and now the Mueller investigation) based assessments, in part, on classified information, which the public does not have the opportunity to evaluate independently. 5/

There's public evidence of Russian information operations aimed at the 2016 election. But on the DNC hack specifically, public knowledge is based on reports that come down to "the US intelligence community assesses" or "the Department of Justice alleges." 6/

It’s normal for the government to base assessments on classified info, which the public won’t see for decades (if ever). Publicizing it would reveal sources and methods to adversaries. So you’re not going to see all the evidence. But you have to draw a conclusion anyway. 7/

Trump, Hannity, Greenwald, and the Russian gov say the DNC hack is made up. FBI, CIA, the rest of the US IC, Mueller and the Justice Dept, and multiple private cyber security firms with financial incentives to disagree all agree Russia did it. You choose who you believe. (END)

Interesting read. Glad you reposted. But, in the light of the new report, doesn't what Hannity claimed seem more far-fetched? If there were ANY REAL evidence, that it would have come to light by now. Perhaps Hannity, Trump, & the RNC should be sued for slander.
