America could really use Mexico's help with Central American asylum-seekers. Hmm... Why won't Mexico volunteer to help the United States these days? Why can't American leaders get Mexico to do more? 'Tis a mystery. 🤔

Good point! Not much discussion about the Why? behind the humanitarian crisis at the border.

It's been building for a while. And some of the crisis is self-inflicted by the Trump administration. But some of the problem is international, requiring an international solution. That's one big reason why good relationships with neighbors is very valuable.

Uh, not sure what your point is, I’m pretty sure the US pays billions to Mexico, each year, to stop the flow of immigrants from Central America, they do an amazing job down there.

About 1/3 of a billion, and it's more general economic and military assistance than specifically migrant-related. But, since you asked, my point is that international problems require international solutions, and damaging relations with international partners makes that harder.

Mexico does have a policy and CA citizens do apply to work in Mexico but you don’t see that due to low information research

Nobody asked Mexico to help. I wonder why Mexico does not warn the people they will take your children as a public service announcement! I can't believe I'm even saying this.
