North Korean denuclearization has to be on the table for talks to take place, but there's no way North Korea denuclearizes. It's not happening. Even if they emerge from the meeting saying it'll happen, it won't. Smart strategy should start from that premise.https://twitter.com/W7VOA/status/1001571839167037441 …

I guess the media had it wrong when they say, "Iran's nuclear deal" ... maybe their nuclear program wasnt nuclear enough for denuclearization? Definitions seem to be muddy here.
-
It’s colloquially called the Iran nuclear deal because it involved Iran’s supplies of nuclear material and nuclear infrastructure. But Iran didn’t have nuclear weapons when it signed the deal (still doesn’t). North Korea has nuclear weapons now. Big difference.
-
Yes having them vs working towards it is a big difference. However, thats a non sequitur argument if we are talking about the definition of, "denuclearization"
-
In North Korea’s case, denclearization means, at a minimum, forfeiting all nuclear weapons, allowing inspections to demonstrate it is not building more, and rejoining the NPT.
-
Youre right. Iran is/was more likely to adhere to their agreement.https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-04-30/israel-exposes-iran-nuclear-lies-and-limits-of-u-s-intelligence …

I didn't say that. I made a prediction about whether or not North Korea will denuclearize. What do you expect to happen with North Korea?
-
Depends on US interactions with China. I think
